Reconstruction

A disciplined construction plan after water damage.

Water damage can affect the roof, exterior, interior finishes and the way the property operates. iBuild documents the accessible construction conditions and develops the repair or reconstruction scope appropriate to the assignment.

  • Sequence the repair around the documented requirements.

When environmental services are required, independently retained licensed specialists perform the assessment, protocol, remediation and clearance work. iBuild plans the construction scope and reconstruction sequence around their documented requirements.

  • Address the construction source and the affected work.

Roof, drainage, flashing or other agreed source repairs are scoped with the appropriate trade and design professionals. Reconstruction begins when the affected area is suitable for that work and any required environmental or other approvals are in place.

  • Keep the property team informed.

Management receives a defined construction scope, access requirements and the decisions needed for the repair sequence. Specialist reports and construction records remain identified by their author and purpose.

  • Preserve the record through closeout.

Applicable specialist clearance records, completed-work photographs, inspection documents and warranties are organized for the owner as required by the agreed scope. iBuild does not issue environmental clearance or a mold-remediation certification.

iBuild provides construction services, site observations and repair estimates. Engineering, legal advice, public adjusting and regulated environmental services are provided by independently retained professionals licensed for their respective work. iBuild does not act as a public adjuster or provide mold assessment or regulated mold remediation.

Start with the concern and the records already available.
